Amazon Resale, formerly Amazon Warehouse, is where Amazon sells returned and open-box items it has inspected. For PC parts it can be one of the cheapest ways to buy, but each item is one of a kind, so you need to read the condition carefully.
The four conditions
| Condition | What Amazon says |
|---|---|
| Like New | Works perfectly with all essential accessories. Packaging may be damaged. |
| Very Good | Fully functional, limited use, minor cosmetic flaws. May lack non-essential accessories. |
| Good | Fully functional, moderate wear. May lack some valuable accessories. |
| Acceptable | Works, with clear signs of use. May lack accessories or parts. |

How to find it
On a normal product page, look for "Save with Used" or "Buy Used" and open the details to see each condition and price. Stock changes constantly, so good listings do not last.
Extra discounts at checkout
Amazon Resale sometimes runs promotions that only show up at checkout. On October 7, 2025, for example, Prime members got an extra 35% off select Amazon Resale items, applied automatically when paying (Slickdeals).
The risk with expensive GPUs
Returns fraud hits resale listings too. In January 2026, a buyer who ordered an MSI RTX 5090 from Amazon Resale filmed the unboxing and found rocks and a towel in the box (Tom's Hardware). Amazon Resale purchases are covered by Amazon's return policy, but protect yourself:
- Record the unboxing of any expensive card, starting with the sealed shipping box.
- Check the model in GPU-Z right away. See our used GPU checklist.
- Start a return immediately if anything does not match the listing.
